Yes, I've been working to change my lifestyle recently and it started about a month or two ago. I've always wanted to train my body and toned it up. And I guess it's time, after slacking for so long. Not just by exercising but also in terms of my diet. I've changed my diet a little recently (except for chilli which I totally can't live without) and I'm glad I made that change. Not just to lose weight and look slimmer so that I can look better in my clothes. But exercise to keep fit and eat clean so as to build up my body. I feel so much lighter and healthier now.
In fact, I've started to fall in love with grocery shopping and lazy me has started to prepare my own food for breakfast! I love going to the supermarket, have lots of idea that I wanna do this and that. But I never really got down to doing it 'cause my laziness would made me change my mind. But it's so different now, I can't wait to go to the supermarket each weekend and see what I can add to my salad or wrap. Who says eating healthy is boring! It's so much fun!
So if you haven't start or are still thinking whether to start, don't waste anymore time!
Well, do I cheat? Yes I still do cheat, on weekends. A diet forced or too restricted might backfire sometimes and you'll end up eating more and start pigging out. So if you feel the need for that chocolate, a small tiny piece will do.
I'm still exploring what other stuff I can prepare and who knows I might just fall in love with preparing food! =)
These was the stuff I put into my wrap for breakfast this morning. Simple yet yummy.
Besides diet, sleep is another important factor. I'm trying to sleep before the clock strikes 12 midnight so that my body gets enough rest. And we would put that extra effort to go gym during the weekends, unlike the past where we'll come back home to just nap after lunch. Oh! so unhealthy!
It's another brand new week and it's Monday! Hope the rest of the week would be good for you! I'm looking forward to my leave next week to bring my niece and nephew out, I hope. Haven't really got it planned out. Weather's been unfriendly these two mornings and it's making waking up damn difficult. It was so nice and cold yesterday that I thought I would wanna wear my gum boots out. But when it was about time for me to step out of house, the rain has stopped. But still, I manage to be in sweater and boots! =D
