TGIT!
Anyways I've been looking for a pair of high cut wear sneakers recently, ever since I found out that my red one is gonna gave up on me. But Wah (the bf) doesn't really want me to get Converse and I only know that Converse has white high cut shoes. AND! I was desperate. So I started sourcing around all the online shop which I know, in search for my sneakers! Finally I found the pair which I fell in love with, almost immediately, from Zalora! Wanted to buy it immediately but he said I could look around besides he didn't know what brand it was. I assured him I won't, still I took a few days to decide if I wanted to buy it. Alas! Could take it no longer, I bought it on Sat.
Not sure how many of you heard of this brand, Feiyue, but I think it's not very popular in Singapore yet. I first saw this brand online and I thought it was a china brand so I couldn't be bothered. Till I saw it in Paris 2 years back and found out it was a French brand.
It's my first time buying from Zalora and I thought it was pretty thoughtful of them. I like the way it's being packed and sent to me so that my shoe box is in a good condition. I could even re-used the Zalora box for my other shoes!
And I've been bad again recently, bought a couple of stuff over the weekends. Too many nice things around, too hard to resist. But since when a girl can resist shopping! Besides I've been quite good the past few months! Bought a watch from "Toy Watch" too. It's red in colour! Can't wait for it to arrived! Anyhoo have a blessed Thursday and get ready for TGIF!

it's Monday again!
The weather is insanely hot! Even before I got out from home,.I'm already perspiring slightly. Madness!
That's why sometimes I hate starting work at 1pm. I'm not afraid of the sun but just hate to be hot and prespiring before I step into office. I woke up thinking what I should wear and since the weather is damn hot I thought I'll be in skirt and sleeveless top. But even in that, am still feeling damn hot. Thankful for the air con blast on the bus.

As the cold wind blows onto my face, I feel a sudden gush of emotions running through me. Happy I must say. Cold but warmth inside, wonder if you have felt the same.
We have come thus far. And I still can't believe it is actually happening. It keeps me motivated and finally I can say I've found some meaning in what I'm doing in my life.
From the time we decided to go bkk and till we were in bkk. We were so blessed. And His blessings just never fail to shower on us continuously.
I can only say... it's really coming through!

Outfit for my gloomy Friday. Love those leggings. I've always wanted to wear it to the office. But I thought it would be too casual. Yesterday I just had to wear something that make me comfortable on Friday.
It's been bad these 2 weeks. I don't look forward to weekdays, not even weekends. Hope this get solved soon. On a happier note, bkk is just about a week away! Can't wait!

Lovely friday
Old habit really die hard, I have to say. It's a day away from office and on course. Supposed to start at 9 but I was late.
But anyhow it was a fruitful course and I got to know a new Korean friend! Sweet! And I came home early! Talking about that, I had such an embarrassing encounter on the bus. My ez-link has insufficient money. And it just has to happen! I didn't bring my coin pouch and I only had $10 notes and $50 notes. Thankfully I had 80cents in my wallet and I had to beg for 30cents from an Auntie. Thanks Auntie! U'll be blessed! And the driver for giving me a 20cents discount! Kind souls still exist!
Lesson learnt! Bring an extra ez-link card next time. Weekends are here! Have a great one!

This is weekend.
Hope weekend has been great for you. A great weekend always pass by so fast. But let not the weekdays pull you down. Soon it'll be weekends too!
Headed to 'saucebar' on TGIF. Had a good time laughing with the girls. The food is pretty ok. Love what I ordered, though the portion is small but it was just nice.
Watched the jayesslee concert on sat. The girls were pretty good. Seems like I have let no chance for weekends to be not fruitful.
Oh I injured my leg as well. And won't be able to be in heels at least the next few days.

Pics talk!
Let the pictures do the talking! That was basically what I did the last 2 weekends. We were supposed to go for the titanic exhibit but the waiting time is insane. So we gave it miss just like that.
Anyhow it's weekends once again! And it's may! Almost halfway through the year! How time flies. And I've been in my team for a year yesterday. We just can't believe it's been so fast. And yesterday, I stopped to think about the things that had happen through out these 5 months. I realized I did not set my 2012 resolution cause I did not achieve any of the ones I set last year. But this year, I've started to achieve them.
- Lost 5kg due to stomach issues though not a good way and thus healthy
- Early nights.
- Starting a biz which is in discussion phase and plans are all out.
I feel so accomplished! Hope I can achieve the rest! So what about you? Have you accomplished some of the things you listed? Hope you did.
It's TGIF! And am looking forward to tonight's girls' night out at 'Saucebar'!

Awesome Tuesday!
I've been starting my week by thinking positive! "Battlefield of the mind devotional". And I think it's working damn well! Even having to encounter difficult problems at work yesterday, I still manage to smile! I like it!
And Tuesday got even better! From Mr Postman! Anyways I'm not sure if you have heard of Clarsonic, it's an electronic facial brush. You can get it from Sephora only but it's really pricey. Cost about 200. So wanted to ignore the price and pick it up to the counter. Just didn't felt the worth to do so.
I never stop thinking about it! Haa... so I started sourcing online and came across something similar! The "Olay Pro X brush". Can't be found in Singapore, gotta get it online. It cost only $59! So happy to receive the package. So anxious to try it out!

New gadget!
Did I mention! I've finally join the Samsung family! Am loving my Samsung note to bits! Love the big screen and the functions it have. Many said it's too big for me. It's like a walkie talkie. But I think it's just fine.
Anyways it's Thursday! One more day to Friday! Aren't you excited! I am. It's been a rough week for me since last week. Decision making week. Struggling to make a decision for my career. Glad I've sorted it out!

Short getaway + Vday
It was unplanned and last minute, we bought the air tickets only 1 week before the trip. In fact the decision to go over to Hong Kong was also last minute. We or rather I felt that something was wrong and we really needed a break. Probably our work has taken the toll of us but it has somehow affect my mood and our relationship personally. I was afraid and I knew we had to do something. I told him how I felt and how much a "we" trip would mean so much to us. And he agreed on a trip. I guess he might have been rather upset about what I've said but I'm glad that I could share and both of us work something out. After all in a relationship, there should be communication in order to sustain.
We actually had a few places in mind which was Bintan, Batam or Tioman. Somehow we ended up choosing Hong Kong. We wanted to go Taiwan but it was such a short trip so we thought we should go somewhere we're more familiar with so that we don't have to rush.
When we went on this trip, we didn't really remember that Valentine's was next week. To us, it was just a normal trip to run away from work. Besides we don't really celebrate Valentine's day on the day itself, everything is so expensive. We believe that if we love each other so much, everyday is Valentine's day and everyday will be filled with smiles and laughter. And besides! I really don't like flowers especially when it's sent right to your office. Everybody else is doing the same! So I wouldn't be so surprise. But I generally don't like them 'cause I hate to see them die and after that I don't know what to do with it except for having dead flowers on my tables. It was really an intention for a short getaway to relax and chill. But I guess you could call it our mini Valentine's day trip! The decision was impulsive but not wrong. We had so much fun and it was relaxing for him as well. 'Cause the pace that I was shopping was comfortable for him and he could eat more.
Anyhow we reached there around evening time on day 1, checked in to the hotel and rush out to meet some of my Hong Kong colleagues. They brought us to this place at Yau Ma Tei which is famous for their claypot rice. The rice was so fragrant, very different from the ones in SG.
Day 2
It was really very cold when we were there. Temperature was between 10 - 12 degrees and wind was so strong. We were totally not prepared for the weather and brought the wrong jacket and coat there. We ended up have having to buy new ones to keep ourselves really warm. My colleagues told me that It wasn't so cold the week before we came. Only got colder on the day we reached! Cold but it was nice weather 'cause I get to wear my boots and socks!
Glad that we bought the Scarves before we went, It kept us warm before we bought the new ones.

Peak hour crowd at the train station! It was insane and I got a shock when I saw it. But as compared to our MRT in Singapore, we were hopping on to the 4th train at less than 3 mins! Efficient! I like!
Most of the time spent during the day was shopping, so no photos but busy shopping! Anyways we met Ringo for dinner on day 3 and he brought us to this really awesome "Private Kitchen" for dinner. It's legal in Hong Kong. You can actually convert that house unit to a kitchen.Nice warm soup on a cold night. What could be better than that!
Did you know I was a fishball monster!? We had 60 fishballs just that night after dinner.
We woke up slightly earlier to have dim sum breakfast (how can you not, when you're in hk!) before heading to Harbourcity to look for some stuff.
Harbour City located at Tsim Sha Tsui is your one step branded place, you can find almost every and any brands there. It's really huge and you'll probably need 1 day or so there. But one thing I need to point out is that, it's filled with China people. So do expect to queue especially for brands like Prada, Chanel and etc.
Finally Steamboat! If I do have any friends in Hong Kong, I really wouldn't go for steamboat. I don't think I'll ever be able to figure out what's written on the menu. The food was nice and fresh. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't the blended kind of chilli sauce. Just felt so weird without it.
The dessert served here are famous and it's nice!
Our last day in Hong Kong. And we woke up uber early for breakfast! I kid you not. The queue is very long. We were late but fortunately we had another Hong Kong friend queuing for us. If you like steam milk, you really should try this. It's awesome! Nice and smooth! We ordered the steam egg as well, it was a little too eggy. Didn't really like it. If you're going, remember to check them out. Australia Diary Company.
The spicy fishballs from this stall are by far the best I ever taste, after going to Hong Kong so many times. Take a train to Yau Ma Tei and exit A2. It's just right outside.
The spicy noodles (which I couldn't try my last trip cause I was sick) that make him surrender after 1 mouth and left me craving for more in hope to find 1 in Singapore. I mange to find it at Dhoby Ghaut but have yet to try it!
And it's time to bid goodbye again! I think they have no longer felt sad each time I leave 'cause I go back so often that it's like my second home. He never stop saying that he wanna go back again. We're planning for one more trip to HK this year but not sure when. Overall it was a fulfilling trip, we had so much fun!
