Weekends are here soon!

That's right! Hang in there peeps! weekends are here real soon! The air has been real bad in Singapore these couple of days. With the hazy condition and insane psi readings. Almost everybody is wearing masks. Hope it goes away soon! And those working outdoor, please take care!
On a happier note, last weekend was a blast! Went for the beerfest asia 2013! Not a beer person but had so much fun trying out the different types of beer. Will blog about it soon!
And you can't believe it, I bought those accessories for $1 each! Accessories are my weakness and when it's $1 each. It's triple the weakness!!
Finally it's a day off from work tmr. Haven't really plan what to do but probably just play by the ear!

Changing life

Yes, I've been working to change my lifestyle recently and it started about a month or two ago. I've always wanted to train my body and toned it up. And I guess it's time, after slacking for so long. Not just by exercising but also in terms of my diet. I've changed my diet a little recently (except for chilli which I totally can't live without) and I'm glad I made that change. Not just to lose weight and look slimmer so that I can look better in my clothes. But exercise to keep fit and eat clean so as to build up my body. I feel so much lighter and healthier now.


In fact, I've started to fall in love with grocery shopping and lazy me has started to prepare my own food for breakfast! I love going to the supermarket, have lots of idea that I wanna do this and that. But I never really got down to doing it 'cause my laziness would made me change my mind. But it's so different now, I can't wait to go to the supermarket each weekend and see what I can add to my salad or wrap. Who says eating healthy is boring! It's so much fun!

So if you haven't start or are still thinking whether to start, don't waste anymore time!

Well, do I cheat? Yes I still do cheat, on weekends. A diet forced or too restricted might backfire sometimes and you'll end up eating more and start pigging out. So if you feel the need for that chocolate, a small tiny piece will do.

I'm still exploring what other stuff I can prepare and who knows I might just fall in love with preparing food! =)

These was the stuff I put into my wrap for breakfast this morning. Simple yet yummy. 

Besides diet, sleep is another important factor. I'm trying to sleep before the clock strikes 12 midnight so that my body gets enough rest. And we would put that extra effort to go gym during the weekends, unlike the past where we'll come back home to just nap after lunch. Oh! so unhealthy!

It's another brand new week and it's Monday! Hope the rest of the week would be good for you! I'm looking forward to my leave next week to bring my niece and nephew out, I hope. Haven't really got it planned out. Weather's been unfriendly these two mornings and it's making waking up damn difficult. It was so nice and cold yesterday that I thought I would wanna wear my gum boots out. But when it was about time for me to step out of house, the rain has stopped. But still, I manage to be in sweater and boots! =D

It's been quite awhile since I last blog. And I just realised the last time I blog was in January, thankful for 2012. How's 2013 treating you so far? And we've reached half the calendar year! It's been great for me though some ups and downs but still it's good!

I've finally got down to changing my diet and making some changes to my lifestyle. Hoping it'll improve my health and of Cause physical size. And I'm so into grocery shopping nowadays! Always thinking what I can add into my salad or wrap to make it less boring. It's really easy! It's such pleasure to prepare breakfast nowadays!

A thankful heart for 2012, a hopeful heart for 2013!

2012 has been such a blast for me! And I'm very thankful for everything that has happen in 2012. I thank God for His grace,unconditional love and unmerited favour in 2012. It was such a great learning journey for me and I could see how that by His grace everything is done effortlessly.There was 2 major events or rather life changing events in 2012 which I cannot be more than grateful for.

Firstly, after many many talks and including it in my resolution every year, it has finally came true! I have finally set up my online shop! It took a lot of planning, almost about 6 months or more. We even made a trip to Bangkok to look for suppliers. No words could describe how blessed we were through out that whole trip. From knowing nothing to learning almost everything that could help us proceed with our 2nd launch that's coming up soon on PieceMeUp. I thank God for the helpful strangers that we made during that trip. It was really God sent and each time I look back I feel so amazed! And secondly, we've applied for our house the first time and we manage to get a unit at our desired location! It's an old estate but I'm glad God's timing was perfect for us and that we actually waited on. Even till the day we were choosing our unit, God answered our prayers. We had so many units to choose from despite having our queue number out of the available units.

So why shouldn't I be thankful for 2012. He gave me good times and turn bad times to even better ones! And now that it's 2013! I'm very hopeful! A new beginning and a new year to see His grace and goodness in 2013!! I can't wait!!

Finally TGIF! I had a great end to it!! Ended my night with the 2 little ones. Sweetest and cutest of all! We had a great time talking about everything while walking home from Liang court. Isn't she just the sweetest niece!

TGIT!

It's really a week to be thankful for. Thank you that truly in Him there's wholeness and health! Something worrying happen last week and I was kind of fearful though I told myself it's nothing to be worried about. After much persuasion from my colleagues, I decided to see a doctor in the afternoon. Came out with a piece of mind and I couldn't be more thankful. Just gotta apply some cream and take antibotics.

Anyways I've been looking for a pair of high cut wear sneakers recently, ever since I found out that my red one is gonna gave up on me. But Wah (the bf) doesn't really want me to get Converse and I only know that Converse has white high cut shoes. AND! I was desperate. So I started sourcing around all the online shop which I know, in search for my sneakers! Finally I found the pair which I fell in love with, almost immediately, from Zalora! Wanted to buy it immediately but he said I could look around besides he didn't know what brand it was. I assured him I won't, still I took a few days to decide if I wanted to buy it. Alas! Could take it no longer, I bought it on Sat.

Not sure how many of you heard of this brand, Feiyue, but I think it's not very popular in Singapore yet. I first saw this brand online and I thought it was a china brand so I couldn't be bothered. Till I saw it in Paris 2 years back and found out it was a French brand.

It's my first time buying from Zalora and I thought it was pretty thoughtful of them. I like the way it's being packed and sent to me so that my shoe box is in a good condition. I could even re-used the Zalora box for my other shoes!

And I've been bad again recently, bought a couple of stuff over the weekends. Too many nice things around, too hard to resist. But since when a girl can resist shopping! Besides I've been quite good the past few months! Bought a watch from "Toy Watch" too. It's red in colour! Can't wait for it to arrived! Anyhoo have a blessed Thursday and get ready for TGIF!

it's Monday again!

The weather is insanely hot! Even before I got out from home,.I'm already perspiring slightly. Madness!
That's why sometimes I hate starting work at 1pm. I'm not afraid of the sun but just hate to be hot and prespiring before I step into office. I woke up thinking what I should wear and since the weather is damn hot I thought I'll be in skirt and sleeveless top. But even in that, am still feeling damn hot. Thankful for the air con blast on the bus.

Another late night

I've been breaking my sleeping rules. Sleeping at horrendous early timing. And I meant laterally. 5am! Seesh... and I feel so lethargic the whole day. This is bad and it is bad. hope I'll sleep early tonight.
Anyways I hate the fact that I've got really big hips! Can't make my hip small, time to lose those fats then! Time to get slim!!

As the cold wind blows onto my face, I feel a sudden gush of emotions running through me. Happy I must say. Cold but warmth inside, wonder if you have felt the same.
We have come thus far. And I still can't believe it is actually happening. It keeps me motivated and finally I can say I've found some meaning in what I'm doing in my life.
From the time we decided to go bkk and till we were in bkk. We were so blessed. And His blessings just never fail to shower on us continuously.
I can only say... it's really coming through!

Outfit for my gloomy Friday. Love those leggings. I've always wanted to wear it to the office. But I thought it would be too casual. Yesterday I just had to wear something that make me comfortable on Friday.

It's been bad these 2 weeks. I don't look forward to weekdays, not even weekends. Hope this get solved soon. On a happier note, bkk is just about a week away! Can't wait!

Lovely friday

Old habit really die hard, I have to say. It's a day away from office and on course. Supposed to start at 9 but I was late.

But anyhow it was a fruitful course and I got to know a new Korean friend! Sweet! And I came home early! Talking about that, I had such an embarrassing encounter on the bus. My ez-link has insufficient money. And it just has to happen! I didn't bring my coin pouch and I only had $10 notes and $50 notes. Thankfully I had 80cents in my wallet and I had to beg for 30cents from an Auntie. Thanks Auntie! U'll be blessed! And the driver for giving me a 20cents discount! Kind souls still exist!

Lesson learnt! Bring an extra ez-link card next time. Weekends are here! Have a great one!
